How to unlock Samsung

How To Unlock Samsung:

Most new Samsung devices manufactured after July 2013 and Samsung devices running Android version 4.4 (KitKat) are subject to REGION LOCKING. If your phone has been used previously with the original carrier, this does not apply to you. However, if your device is brand new, your must activate it with the original carrier. For example if your Samsung phone is from AT&T you must activate it with AT&T SIM card on AT&T network before using the unlock codes we provide. In order for your Samsung device NOT to be region locked, you MUST activate (first use) your S3, S4, S5, NOTE 2 or NOTE 3 with your ORIGINAL carrier at least ONCE to take your region lock OFF. After your region lock is off, you can SIM unlock your device via unlock code provided. Also rooted phones may need to be restored to a factory ROM before using unlock code.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Make sure to turn OFF Wi-Fi under "Wireless Connections" before proceeding to entering your unlock code. Also make sure the phone is NOT on Airplane Mode. Our Samsung codes are always 100% accurate if you provided correct IMEI. Therefore, a video proof will be required if code error occurs.

What to do if you get the "Network Unlock Unsuccessful" message? This is a known issue so not to worry.
We have put together this troubleshooting guide to help you resolve this issue.

How To Unlock Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, S4, S5, Note, Note 2, Note 3 (III)

Solution #1

Follow these steps carefully and you will be able to get your Galaxy phone unlocked. Your phone must be updated to the latest firmware.

First, verify that your phone isn't rooted. You can download the free app called "Root Checker" from Google Play Store to your Samsung device and verify if it has a root access. If it does, you'll need to restore it to a factory ROM. You can search for instructions on how to do that for your particular device. If your device isn't rooted, then proceed as instructed below.

1. Turn your phone ON with a SIM card inserted.

2. Go to "Settings" then to "Wireless Connections" and turn Wi-Fi OFF:

a. Go to the dial pad and dial *#197328640#

b. Please click on number [1] UMTS > [1] Debugging screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] NETWORK LOCK

c. You will see three options

d. Please click on number [1] Perso Sha256 INFO, the screen will change slightly

e. Hit the MENU button then when the menu pops up hit BACK to return to the previous screen

f. Click on number [2] Perso Sha256 ON, the screen will change again to a one line message
